So apparently only getting 3 hours sleep isn't too good for you, or so my poor body tells me :(
Pretty early here and I definitely won't be able to get back to sleep. However, thanks to a certain blogger I'm listening to this song on replay. I find it so soothing, who knows, maybe I'll fall back to sleep thanks to it.
It's spring here in Australia, and the birds seem to have the same problem as I do, I love listening to them however <3
Does anyone out there have any tips for falling asleep quickly? I'm sure some of you can relate.
I cant fall asleep unless i have my fan on, i guess just having that ambient sound helps.
ReplyDeleteYou really only need four hours of sleep a day to function. But if you are having a hard time falling asleep, eat some cheese till your stomach is full, then lay down and try to day dream (with your eyes closes) as vividly as possible.
ReplyDeleteWhite noise definitely helps me sleep. Turkey is also known to have sleep-inducing properties, as well as dairy. Try a turkey and cheese wrap! I also like the melody of this tune but the singers voice is too raspy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for following me!
peace, reading daily

ReplyDeleteWish it was spring here :(
ReplyDeleteBlah, insomnia sucks. Reading before bed helps me go to sleep
ReplyDeleteI have a similar problem, but I don't think its insomnia. Some say that white noise helps, but I haven't tried. I would google search, and see what you find :)

ReplyDeleteif you cant sleep, try staying away from the computer, tv or any stimulants hours before you go to bed. relax yourself by maybe laying around, listening to sooth music, or just meditating, then your bed will slip into sleep easily :)
ReplyDeleteI could really sleep last night either hmmm we need to work on that
ReplyDelete*edit* I changed it for ya (:

ReplyDeleteWith me, If i'm not asleep an hour after I lie down I just get up and putter around for an hour then try again. Sometimes it works, sometimes...not so much.
ReplyDeleteAs a last resort I take 2 benadryl and that usually helps. Granted for some odd reason it sometimes causes me to bite mt tongue in my sleep.
ReplyDeletetry taking melatonin or valerian root. or drinking chamomile tea.
ReplyDeleteAny of you have experience lucid dreaming? I heard all you have to do is stay perfectly still and then wake yourself up when you're beginning to doze off.
